our story

Los Angeles is home. It’s where we were born and raised—and the city we love with our whole hearts.

At the start of this year, LA faced the unthinkable. Wildfires tore through our communities, leaving behind devastation. Lives were uprooted. Homes and businesses were lost. The need for immediate relief was undeniable—and we knew we had to act.

Within 48 hours, we launched a grassroots donation center out of our co-founder Malin’s dad’s bar, The Three Clubs in Hollywood. What began as a small effort quickly grew into something much bigger, powered by the love and generosity of our community.

Since then, we’ve helped over 8,000 Angelenos with essential items, clothing, and care—all donated, sorted, and distributed by hand. With the support of Citizen News Events and The Hayden Tract, we moved into a larger space, allowing us to expand and streamline distribution.

To date, 24LA has welcomed over 1,100 volunteers and distributed more than $2.3 million in donated goods—always thoughtfully, and always with love.

Our initiative is called 24LA: Together, For Love, Always. And now, we need your help to keep going. While we’ve received generous in-kind support, we’re still covering many of our operational costs out-of-pocket. We’re committed to this work—but to sustain it, we need monetary donations.

Your support directly funds:

  • Utilities and warehouse overhead

  • Community-based events and workshops

  • Meals and supplies for our volunteers and admin team

  • Modest pay for our core volunteers

  • Specialty items requested by families that we can’t source through donations

This isn’t just about recovery—it’s about rebuilding lives with care, dignity, and community at the heart.

24LA is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations are tax-deductible and eligible for a receipt.

If you believe in what we’re doing and have the means to give—anything helps.
